Russian attack on Ukraine and Finland's support to Ukraine
Russia launched an invasion against Ukraine on 24 February 2022. Finland strongly condemns Russia’s military actions in Ukraine and unequivocally supports Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, self-determination and territorial integrity. As part of the European Union, Finland will respond to Russia’s actions.
Finland’s foreign policy leadership is closely monitoring Russia’s actions and the security situation in Europe.
