Minister of Defence Häkkänen to attend NATO Summit in Ankara

Finland’s Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen will attend the NATO Summit, held in Ankara, Türkiye, on 7–8 July 2026.

Minister of Defence Häkkänen will attend the NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum (NSDIF26) and a working dinner of NATO defence ministers.

The Defence Industry Forum aims to promote dialogue between NATO, Allied political leaders and senior officials and the industry. A cross-section of Finnish defence industry companies will be joining the forum.

“Several long-negotiated defence industry projects will be published at the NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum in Ankara. Finland will be joining most of the initiatives that are focused on developing and producing capabilities. Our efforts will focus on translating our defence investments into concrete capabilities and making NATO’s deterrence and defence stronger,” Minister of Defence Häkkänen said.
