Finland’s Minister of Defence Häkkänen to visit United States
Finland’s Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen will visit the United States from 2 to 7 December 2025.
Minister of Defence Häkkänen will participate in a panel discussion “Five Percent for Freedom: NATO and the Future of Ukraine” at the Reagan National Defense Forum (RNDF) in Simi Valley in California.
The Reagan National Defense Forum (RNDF) brings together leaders from across the political spectrum and key stakeholders in the defence community, including Members of Congress, senior military leadership and industry executives.
In the United States, Minister of Defence Häkkänen will also meet with leaders of the US defence administration and visit Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam where he will meet with Admiral Samuel John Paparo Jr., Commander of the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM).
“We have actively deepened the defense cooperation between Finland and the United States, which is currently closer than ever before. During my visit, in meetings and negotiations with representatives of the political and military leadership of the United States, we plan to further deepen this cooperation,” says Minister of Defense Antti Häkkänen.
