Defence Forces to procure equipment to lay out and gather cables

The Defence Forces Logistics Command has signed a contract with Nestor Cables on the procurement of equipment to lay out and gather cables.

The procurement package contains 20 equipment to lay out and gather cables and a total of 180 options for further procurement over 2020-2023. The overall value of the contract is EUR 5.4 million.

The equipment will be used in training and exercises in brigade-level units in the Defence Forces and to equip various projects. It will also be used to build communications and access networks in the terrain.
