Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö to Brussels

Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö will attend the EU's Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) meeting for defence ministers on 6 March. The agenda of the defence ministers' meeting includes the implementation of the EU's permanent structured cooperation (PESCO), prospects for the future and the implementation of the European Defence Fund.

The ministers will also discuss cooperation between the EU and NATO and there will be an overview of the EU's military crisis management operations.
