European Conference of Defence and the Environment in Helsinki

The European Conference of Defence and the Environment is a new networking venue between Defence policy makers, practioners, scientists, industry and other stake holders.

It is essentially an opportunity to exchange information and compare experiences in the field of environmental protection in the defence sector. It also provides the participants with the possibility to increase cooperation between nations by bringing up themes that affect all or most of the defence actors.

At the same time it is a learning and education forum for all working with the issues contemplated.
