Permanent Secretary Pulkkinen to visit South America
Permanent Secretary Esa Pulkkinen from the Ministry of Defence will participate in the Finnish defence industry's trade mission to Brazil and Argentina from 10 to 14 April 2023. He will have several meetings with representatives of the defence administrations and defence forces in both countries.
In Rio de Janeiro, he will also visit the LAAD Defence & Security Expo, the continent's most important and largest defence event. Representatives of the defence industries and defence administrations from more than 75 countries will attend the event.
During his visit to Brazil, Permanent Secretary Pulkkinen will have bilateral meetings, for example with Minister of Defence José Múcio Monteiro Filho and the commanders of the Army, Navy and Air Force. In addition, a bilateral meeting with Peru's Minister of Defence Jorge Chávez Cresta is being planned.
In Buenos Aires, Permanent Secretary Pulkkinen will meet representatives of Ministry of Defence of Argentina and Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Daniel Fernando Filmus.
