Ministry of Defence decided on procurement of optical fibre construction for De-fence Forces
Based on the proposal of the Defence Forces Logistics Command, Minister of Defence Kaikkonen authorised the Defence Forces, on 18 September 2020, to conclude a procurement contract with TLT-Connection Oy Finland for optical fibre construction.
The Framework Agreement applies to optical fibre construction contracts and the maintenance of a cable network for the Defence Forces in areas that, as a rule, are administered by the Defence Forces, such as garrison and exercise areas. The planned contract period is 1 October 2020 to 30 September 2022. In addition, the Framework Agreement includes two separate options, both being twelve months long.
The total value of the procurement, including options and additional procurement, is at the most EUR 19.2 million (VAT 0 %).
