Ministry of Defence decided on Partnership Agreement between Defence Forces and Airbus Defence and Space

The Ministry of Defence has authorised on 18th of September the Defence Forces Logistics Command to sign a Partnership Agreement with Airbus Defence and Space. The Agreement covers maintenance and training services related to the situation picture systems and information security systems of the Defence Forces. 

Cooperation between the contracting parties has met the criteria of partnership since 2010. Thanks to the long-term cooperation, Airbus Defence and Space has developed strong technology and industry expertise to ensure domestic security of supply for the above-mentioned Defence Forces’ critical systems also in emergency conditions.

The total value of the services of the partnership contract will be approximately EUR 1.8 to 2.2 million per year. The contract will be in force until further notice.

Part of the European Airbus Group, Airbus Defence and Space employs about 350 people in Finland.
