NATO Assistant Secretary General for Defence Investment Camille Grand to visit Finland 29 to 30 May
NATO’s Assistant Secretary General for Defence Investment Camille Grand will visit Finland on 29 to 30 May. This is his first visit to the country. Camille Grand acts as Head of Defence Investment Division that is one of the Alliance’s four key sectors. During the visit, he will meet Permanent Secretary Jukka Juusti and other senior public officials from the Ministry of Defence, Chief of Defence Jarmo Lindberg, and senior public officials from the Office of the President of the Republic and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Director-General Raimo Jyväsjärvi from the Resource Policy Department, the Ministry of Defence, will host the visit.

Secretary General Grand will also take part in the industrial seminar,
organised by the Defence and Aviation Industry Association of Finland (PIA) for
NATO’s Industrial Working Group.
About 100 staff work at NATO’s Defence Investment division, tasked to enable
multinational cooperation in developing interoperable capabilities. The goal is
to improve NATO’s effectiveness in current and future operations. The Division
focuses on leading and coordinating the Alliance’s strategic projects so that the temporally and technically desired capability will be
produced.
