Minister of Defence of Belgium Steven Vandeput to visit Finland
Steven Vandeput, Minister of Defence of Belgium, will be on a working visit to Finland on 11-12 October. The visit will be hosted by the Finnish Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö.
The topics on the agenda of the bilateral discussions include security situation in the neighbouring regions, current issues relating to the Common Security and Defence Policy of the European Union (CSDP), and collaboration within the NATO framework. Other themes to be covered are the Finnish Defence Report currently under preparation and other topical defence administration issues.
During the visit Minister Vandeput will also meet representatives of the Defence Command Finland and visit the Guard Jaeger Regiment in Santahamina.
