State Secretary Marcus Rantala to attend Informal Meeting of EU Defence Ministers

State Secretary Marcus Rantala is to attend the Informal Meeting of EU Defence Ministers in Dublin on the 12th and 13th of February 2013.

The attendants are to discuss Common Security and Defence Policy related issues leading up to the European Council in December 2013, Also on the agenda is the situation in Mali as well as EUTM Somalia and EUNAVFOR Atalanta.

The Secretary General of NATO and the UN Under-Secretary General for Peacekeeping Operations are also to attend the meeting.
