Minister of Defence Niinistö to Norway

Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö will make a working visit to Kirkenes in Norway on 26 to 27 September 2018. The visit will be hosted by Norway’s Minister of Defence Frank Bakke-Jensen.

The ministers will discuss bilateral relations between the two countries, materiel cooperation, Nordic defence cooperation and crisis management operations. They will also address matters related to regional security and exercise cooperation.

A Framework Agreement on defence cooperation between Norway and Finland will be signed by the ministers during the meeting.
